We are delighted to announce that our short film project had been selected by Filmbase for production. The script was written by Oran Doyle, directed by Frank Reid and produced and edited by Shirley Weir.
The shoot will take place in Tullamore in the Winter and be shot by Noah Eli Davis.

‘Gonadz’ wins Element Pictures ‘Zonad’ Competition

We are thrilled to announce that GONADZ has won the Element Pictures ZONAD competition. The brief was “an alien lands in an Irish Village..” The film was shot in one day in Wexford on the EX1 by Raj Nundall. Written and directed by Jake McKone and produced by Shirley Weir and Laura Way. The film will be featured as part of the extras on the ZONAD DVD.

Pump Action at Edmonton Film Festival

We’re thrilled to announce that Pump Action has been selected as one of eight Irish films to be shown at the 23rd Edmonton International Film Festival in Canada.

The Edmonton International Film Festival has been running since 2004 and has a schedule which includes over 40 feature-length dramas and documentaries, as well as over 100 short films.

Our Festival is about ‘discovery’. We strive to uncover cinematic gems and celebrate unique voices in movie-making such as directors, writers and producers. EIFF is about films and the people who make them.

The festival is also hoping to screen the two 90 minute retrospective programmes of Irish Live Action shorts and Animation titles, that NITV curated last November for the Encounters (Bristol) Festival.

The music video for Lisa Hannigan’s ‘I Don’t Know’ was shot in Kildare on the Sony EX1 by Kate McCullough. The breath taking production design was designed & created by Maeve Clancy.
